Sturdy and responsible

Sturdy well made uses sugar cane processing residue instead of trees (and the world uses a lot of sugar cane!). Notebook folds flat so can be written in anywhere no need for a table or desk. Spiral binding is sturdy too.

Just OK Notebook

I like the look of this notebook it has a very sturdy cover (although it did warp) and there's a separate pocket page that is sturdy as well. Each page is perforated so you can remove the pages cleanly. My biggest problem is that the perforations don't hold and I've ended up taping the pages back into the book.

Great value! Loved the 100 sheets rather than a mere 80 of other notebooks. Durable copper binding provides quality and the textured striped cover makes this a stylish notebook for meeting notes or journaling on a lunch break.

These have become my favorite notebooks. Knowing that it helps our environment and I also like the hard covers making it possible to take notes and write without looking for something else to use as support. I have no idea why your decision was made to take this product from your store except for saving money but sometimes it is better to keep customers happy. For me it means having to take more steps and also I don't bother to go into the store and buy other things now I go into whatever is close. My finances are limited so I'm not able to order several at one time as I'd like.

Paper is Different

Having used the sugar-cane based filler paper and bigger notebooks with fountain pens I ordered four of these to use as a journal of sorts. The paper feathers and bleeds much more than the filler paper -- and strangely enough the filler paper I ordered at the same time is still very good with ink! The rest of the construction is good and I'll be using them as my scrap notebook.
