My favorite half notebook!

The hard but light cover is my favorite feature of this notebook. It’s a great size for writing notes and the inner pockets are great for holding scrap paper or sticky notes! COMPLAINT: I ordered four of these and every single one came with these lines down the side NOT plain like the product picture. This is a downer for me because I specifically started buying these notebooks so I could customize the fronts. The lines obviously make this hard to do. :( I would love updated product pictures or stock that matches the online representation.

Sturdy covers and paper is a nice weight with little bleed-through from my roller-ball type pen. But the pocket paper isn't very strong and a few holes tore out of the spiral when I turned it over. However I'd buy this again (I got six and am not disappointed!) Thank you Staples for "going green."

Sturdy and good for fountain pens

The covers are a really nice and study kraftboard material and have never frayed. Wire binding is very sturdy as well. Pages have never stuck together and are a nice quality. They're a bit translucent but the light brown lines are nice looking especially with colored inks. Very smooth; I never get fibers stuck in my fountain pen nibs even the fine ones. I use Noodler's inks and they don't feather on this paper. The notebooks also tend to smell faintly sweet. A nice writing experience all around.
