Pencils are better than pens!

I was lucky enough to be able to acquire these Dixon Economy #2 soft Yellow pencils through TryItSampling and I happy that I did. They write smooth and the eraser WORKS! Thanks so much!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils work great, sharpen evenly, and feel smooth to hold. They’re just as good as more expensive pencils but will save you money! The tips are not easily broken which, I appreciate They are great pencils, and I'll keep buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Dixon pencils they work great I love how they are hard wood number 2 pencils not that recycle wood pencils. These are good pencils to have your kids take to school or I keep them at home for my daughters to use for their homework . They are very easy to sharpen and don't break when you write with them nice pencils.

Not the sharpest pencil in the box...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary package of the Dixon Economy - #2 Soft - yellow pencil in exchange for my review. These are pretty much a standard, economy pencil. Solid wood exterior and a graphite interior. The graphite seemed a bit darker than most pencils when writing but was smooth moving. There was a pretty significant difference in using a hand held sharpener versus an electric one. The hand held didn't really allow you to get a good sharp point and what you did get, broke off with any writing pressure. The electric sharpener gave me a really descent point but didn't break as easily as the hand held sharpener. I have no clue why. The eraser worked differently on separate types of paper. On copy paper, it was pretty good at removing any writing and didn't leave a lot of "eraser dust" behind. On lined paper for a 3 ring notebook, the eraser actually was difficult to use and I noticed a few tears in the paper. Guessing it was the paper thickness that was the difference. A good pencil, seems reasonably priced to purchase.

Writes great nice clean lines and deep bold grey. the tip is strong and sharpens easily. Eraser works just as well I will continue to buy this brand for my kids school supplies just like my mom did for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously the best pencils you can buy. They always sharpen to a nice point and the point doesn't break off easily. The eraser actually erases. The pencil doesn't shrink to half its size after one sharpening. What more could you ask for?
