[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lead on these pencils doesn't break every time you sharpen them and they are sturdier than the store brand pencils you find for a cheaper price. Work for standardized tests and erasers are decent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having children in school, pencils are always a must have around the house. These pencils are great. There is no smearing when writing, the erasers work well instead of just smudging the paper, it erases the way it is supposed to. The lead does not break easily either.

Perfect for Play Rehersal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is in theatre. And with each new play, we get a book that we use for the session. We are allowed to write in pencil but it needs to be erased once we are done with the play and the book returned. We've been using these for the past few weeks and it's working out great. They provide a smooth writing experience and they erase cleanly - meaning, there is no graphite left behind it all comes up! We are very pleased with these pencils as well as the theatre company is pleased too.

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just a wonderful set of pencils and these pencils have become my sons favorite No. 2 pencils to use for his school work. They are very sturdy, the lead is properly centered and they sharpen very well. The pencils write well without brushing off and the lead is harder to break than with most other pencils. My son loves that these pencils come with cap erasers and these erasers work great as well. This will be the only pencils he will use from now on for all of his school work. Highly recommend them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a couple of reasons I like this pencil. It is easy to sharpen without the lead breaking off. It writes very smoothly (and feels good). Also, the lead lasts long in between sharpening. Overall, it a good quality pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently a full time student and I have a 7 year old that attends elementary school that just love to draw and has tremendous homework. These Dixon Economy #2 Soft Yellow Pencils are perfect. They are smooth to sharpen and the eraser is clean and effective. The packaging is simple, yet attractive. The pack came with 12 pencils therefore it will last me and my son quite a long time. We are both very pleased with the results.

Great for my kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids go thru pencils so fast. Points break, sharon too much. These Dixon Economy - #2 Soft - Yellow pencils held up better during homework time. No broken points, which was great, less sharpening. That means pencils last longer! The writing was smooth, no smudging either.
