Another Idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new house with plastered walls and beautiful oak trim on the windows called for 'another idea' for hanging curtain rods. We placed one large brushed nickel metal hook above and beyond the oak trim directly on the plastered wall and rested a round expansion rod in the elbow of the hook. It gives the optical illusion of a larger window, saves both the wood and plaster from holes being made for traditional rods and enabled us to use longer curtains. Worked like a charm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Remodeling a older block home in St. Petersburg with painted cinder block walls. With Command products, I can add functional accents, decoration and organization without the labor and trouble of drilling and plugging holes everywhere.
When a new design or whim arises, there is the simple removal and fast, (did I mention fast?), redo with amazing results everytime!
Best thing about Command products here in Florida is that they are available almost everywhere in all colors, designs and types to meet our needs. The dolar value makes great sense too when you consider you never have to clean up, spackle, fill or sand a Command hook or accessory. Ideal for those renters who want that security deposit in full too!

large metal hooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a middle school teacher and I use these hooks on my computers so that students can hang their headphones on them. It has kept the headphones and cords off the floor. Before I started using the hooks, my headphones were getting broken all the time.

I have a new home and all the hardware is brushed nickel. I purchased the large metal hooks in the brushed nickel and it matched perfectly. I put several in my masterbath as towel hooks outside the shower. I also attached them to the inside of the walkin closet door for our robes to hang on. I just love that if I need to remove them they leave no marks and they are very strong for heavy coats also. I recommend them for all.

My First Experience with Command Strip Products

I was skeptical at first, but tried out these hooks. We had just moved into a brand new house and needed hooks in our bathroom. I wasn't sure where the best locations for the hooks would be, so I put up 3 of these hooks. I figured that if they fell down at least they wouldn't leave holes behind, and if they were in the wrong places they'd probably fall down anyway. To complicate matters, 1 hook needed to be on a tile wall and the 2 others needed to be on an undulating wall underlaid with stucco. (See why I didn't want to make holes until I was sure of the location for the hooks?)
Well, was I ever wrong! The 3 hooks have been up for a year and a half. We hang our heavy bath towels on them, so they get used constantly. They are still holding firmly. Furthermore, they are quite attractive and match the finish on the hardware in our bathroom perfectly. I'm so pleased with these hooks that I've since added 2 more, this time in my walk-in closet.
Since I've removed a couple of hooks elsewhere, I have faith that these will come right off cleanly if I do need to move them, but that isn't likely to ever happen.

command large metal hook

I purchased the large metal hook for my daughter's room, as I wanted to hang a few of her empty (yes empty) handbags on it. These bags (3) were not large, and were not equal to 5 pounds. My husband followed the directions, everything looked great. A few days later, not only did the handbags and hook fall off the wall, but it also took off the paint. So, assuming we did something wrong, we followed the procedure again. Once again, after a few days, same thing happened. Needless to say, I will not use this product again. Now the wall has to be patched and painted. So much for this supposedly great product.
