I thought of these as an alternative to Sharpie fine pens which I use for journaling and homework. While these pens are beautifully permanent they bleed through the paper so much that I can only write on one side. They are great for labeling things and decorative work.

These pens are just what I was looking for. I am a woodworker and use a fine-tip marker to scribe lines on dark wood and other things in the shop. These pens fit the bill perfectly. The fine point is excellent for making fine distinct marks. I'll definitely keep a supply in the shop.
