Notebooks are perfect size for organizing hobbies from gardening to wine making. Empty seed packets to brand labels can be added to pages though a heavier stock paper would be desirable to avoid warp-age. Pages can be removed easily. A pen or pencil stores easily in the spiral for added convenience. The college ruled lines make note writing neater the card board backer and cover are sturdy enough to use independent of hard surface and easily held in one hand while writing. I keep several around. One in my cars glove box to keep track general maintenance. One for each of my several hobbies. One in my purse for notes on products while shopping.

I use these compact notebooks to keep all kinds of records such as contributions to organizations and charities books I hear about that I would like to read wardrobe and home improvement records (what purchased and where items to look for to-do lists for ongoing projects. ideas to explore notes from lectures attended etc. These one-subject compact size notebooks are easy to carry with me to have available whenever I wish to make note of something of interest that I wish to explore further.

Just what I was looking for

I use this little notebook as a daily journal. It is the perfect size to fit my needs. For months - maybe even years - I searched for just the right size notebook to journal in daily so I was thrilled when several years ago I found this small notebook. Then after a move I searched for a Staples nearby so I could replenish my stock. The spiral binding enables me to fold it over as I write. The size of the line spacing is just right for me too. And of course the bright colorful covers add to the enjoyment factor of this product. Thanks Staples for another consistently great product!

Perfect size for taking notes on the go. I am in several different classrooms every day and needed a notebook small enough to carry but not be cumbersome. I can take quick notes to transcribe later. Love these.
