The Notebook is meant for everyday use and on the very first use the binding peeled away from the pages. Luckily the pages are bound with glue but the cover binding disengaged leaving a stack of paper and a cover as two separate components. This is not necessarily what I want or envision when using a notebook for school work that must be neat clean and organized over a reasonably long period of time. Sadly I do not think this problem was specific to this particular notebook as I bought several and the two I used both had this issue.

Compact enough to get the job done

I am a really busy working mom. Between basketball and cheerleading practices client calls in the car PTA meetings doctor appointments etc having something small enough to throw in my bag for quick notes is great. The spiral does get caught in my purse but not all the time. Overall it's pretty handy.

Just what I was looking for

I use this little notebook as a daily journal. It is the perfect size to fit my needs. For months - maybe even years - I searched for just the right size notebook to journal in daily so I was thrilled when several years ago I found this small notebook. Then after a move I searched for a Staples nearby so I could replenish my stock. The spiral binding enables me to fold it over as I write. The size of the line spacing is just right for me too. And of course the bright colorful covers add to the enjoyment factor of this product. Thanks Staples for another consistently great product!
