This paper is idea for basic use. I bought it a $3.00 a ream which is far and a very good price. I cant seem to understand the see-saw in pricing basic non-descript functional paper. this was a good price for "what it is."

While I did not and will not count each sheet I assume there is 5000 sheets in the box. Nicely wrapped in 500 sheets (I assume) packages. It is definitely white!
