I was looking for filing cabnets that locked all the drawers & was having trouble finding one. Most "square" cabnets (4 drawers) only lock the top 2 drawers leaving the rest open. So I decided to look at Lateral filing cabnets (used this type at my old job). I was sold as soon as I saw all 4 drawers locked!

While only one person accesses this cabinet there is a lot to go inside it. The drawers seem very easy to open. I feel safe with the height so I don't have to reach too high or use a step. Very happy with our purchase.

I would have given it a 5 stars if it offers the option of purchasing the optional frame to make it into front to back filing as needed.

Large enough for legal files and by simply moving the rails the unit will accommodate letter files. I also have the two (2) drawer version and both work well.
