These file folders are sturdy and the fact that they have 3 tabs makes it very easy to find things after they are filed . I checked out some others folders in different stores and they were like paper. I could tell they would tear very quickly. These do not tear even after putting them in or take them out of a file cabinet many times. Some of my files are years old and my folders are still in very good shape. I appreciate the fact that I do not have to replace them. I would purchase them again and recommend these to anyone.
