I use these every year for filing. I would not suggest going thinner material. The 11pt seems to be a reasonable yet durable enough to file invoices in. I go through 300+ every year and happy with these.

POOR selection of folders in this store and once found they were RECYCLED AND HALF as thick as the original. The container box did NOT show anywhere that they were recycled. NOT A GOOD PRACTICE STAPLES!
