But after using for a day I really started to like it. It drys super fast and doesn’t get ink on your hand when you write or smudge like other gel pens do. It only took a day and now this is my go to pen only one I have been using. My writing is better now that I’m used to how to comes out of the pen. It’s comfy to hold not to bulky I would definitely get these pens again !

It has an ergonomic grip for comfort while writing and a fine point tip that is great for our everyday lives while the ink is long lasting and drys quickly. The ProGel Pen writes smoothly with little pressure it is easy to use and the ergonomic grip helps prevent hand strain or cramping. The quick drying ink is great for left handed people. There is no skipping or smudging of the ink or bleeding through the paper. It has very impressive smooth ink flow with perfect results. This pen is retractable and comes with a pocket clip. I am shocked at the quality of these pens and how nice they feel in your hands. These are definitely my top choice over other brands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who exclusively uses ink gel pens I can confidently say the Staples ProGel Pen stands up to the competition. The wider grip makes for a very comfortable hold when writing. The best part about this pen is that it writes smoothly almost gliding across the paper and dries instantly. Because of this it could be an ideal option for those who write with their left hands and have experienced smudged and smeared ink with other pens. These pens will leak ink when storing upside down which I’ve not experienced with other brands. Despite this I would use the Staples ProGel Pen on a regular basis as the pros outweigh the cons for me personally.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ProGel pen is amongst the best. It glides smoothly across the paper with no kinks or skipped lines which is essential when prioritizing neatness and speed. You won't have to stop and go back over lines. It has a comfortable easy grip and does not leave indentations on your fingers. Unlike many other gel pens I did not experience any bleed through even when I purposely tried to flood the paper making it possible to write on both sides of the paper if that's your jam. The ProGel pen is quick dry but not instant so there is a very slight possibility for smearing. Be cautious lefties! The rich concentrated ink colors make it a dream for artistic use. My son has pilfered a few for his sketch book! I love this pen and will be making it my primary pen for note taking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gel pen holds its own against other competitors. I like the retractable nib so I don't have to keep up with pen caps and the comfort grip lives up to its name. The pen writes well and clearly with vibrant ink on a variety of writing surfaces. It excels in the saturation of the pen ink while not bleeding through which is a problem I've encountered with other gel pens. It writes well on glossy surfaces which are often a challenge. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 star review is because I experienced some smudging on the glossier pages. Otherwise I found it to be very quick drying. Even on the glossy pages it dries pretty quickly but not so fast as to eliminate a few small smudges when writing at my normal speed. The picture of the smudged ink was from me immediately running my finger over it so that's not going to be typical but it does show the issue. You can also compare the vibrancy of the ink on my calendar page pictures.

As someone who loves writing in my journal finding a good pen is really important to me. I'm happy to share my thoughts on this pen. I've been using the Pilot G-2 07 for a long time and it's been my favorite pen. But after trying the Staples ProGel Pen I think I found something even better. It's got a nicer grip writes smoother and it's never skipped on me. This is definitely going to be my new favorite pen. The grip of the Staples ProGel Pen is really comfortable. It feels good in my hand so I can write for a long time without my hand hurting. And when I write with it the ink flows smoothly onto the page. It makes my writing look neat and clean every time. Plus it's really easy to see how much ink is left because of the see-through barrel. Compared to the Pilot G-2 07 the Staples ProGel Pen writes even smoother. It feels really nice to write with which makes journaling or writing notes more enjoyable. Overall I'm really happy with the Staples ProGel Pen. It's comfortable and cushy to hold writes smoothly and it's dries pretty fast. This pen is definitely my new favorite. If you're looking for a good pen I definitely recommend giving it a try.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: * Smooth writing experience * Available in a variety of colors * Comfortable grip Cons: * Ink can bleed through thin paper Overall Staples Progel pens seem like a good option for everyday use. They are comfortable to write with and deliver bold color. However if you are looking for a pen that is guaranteed not to bleed through thin paper you may want to consider another option.
