These have always been my go to brand of storage sandwich bags as far as I can remember. I grew up with this brand and still use them to this day. They are extremely reliable and alway keep food fresh and stay sealed. They work great for other uses such as storing craft items too.

New bags are cheap and worse.

Every time I open a new snack bag, the top rips. It feels like they thinned out the plastic and it's made the bag weaker, so when you open a new one, the top rips off from the bottom, just above the blue seal line. The new dimples for easier sealing don't actually improve anything. Very disappointing, I wish they went back to the old style. Cheapening out plastic just like grocery bags, making them useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like using zip lock sandwich bags for just about everything. When I make a sandwich, other foods, or just to organize with. They are strong enough not to rip when I put screws in them. They are incredibly affordable for the amount of bags you get. Love them!Ziploc® Brand Sandwich Bags
