Became the Primary Writing Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently was provided a dozen box of Staples Duramark Permanent Red Markers with Ultra Fine Tips and I must say they have exceeded my expectations. Although red isn't typically my go-to color these markers quickly became a favorite in our household. The ultra fine tip is perfect for detailed work making it easy to write clearly and precisely. Whether it's labeling items creating art or jotting down notes these markers deliver consistent vibrant color every time. The ink dries quickly preventing any smudging which is a huge plus. One minor drawback we encountered was when using the markers on painters tape. While the marker itself worked fine the combination of the red ink and the ultra fine tip made it a bit challenging to read. However this is a small issue compared to the overall performance of the markers. Overall the Staples Duramark Permanent Red Markers are a fantastic addition to our stationery collection. Their reliability and quality make them a great choice for anyone in need of permanent markers. Highly recommended!

Great for Precision but Dries Out Quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers are super precise and perfect for detailed writing labeling and small projects. The ultra-fine tip glides smoothly on paper plastic and even glossy surfaces without smudging. The red ink is bold and vibrant making it easy to read. My only issue is that they seem to dry out a little faster than expected especially if left uncapped for even a short time. Otherwise they’re a solid choice for anyone needing sharp clean lines with permanent ink.

Great fine tip marker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Duramark Ultra Fine Tip Permanent Marker in red ink is a very nice writing utensil. I use it mainly for list-making and everyday writing but I have used it for some fine marking on intricate artworks as well. It works best for me while writing more slowly and when I try marking fast the ink is not as smooth of a stream. There are more breaks in the line like the ink can’t come out as fast. It’s a good red color and the ultra fine tip is an excellent size for careful precise writing. The pen overall has a nice feel and the clip attached to the cap is sturdy and helpful for keeping it attached to my spiral notebook. I would recommend this 12 pack of markers to anyone who needs a dependable writing instrument. I will definitely be purchasing these in black as well.

Permanent Red Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen reminds me of being a teacher and marking up test or homework. It is ultra fine. It writes nice and smooth. I always like a pen that writes smooth. It is a permanent marker so it can bleed through paper. If you are planning to write on both sides of the paper this pen would not be good for that. I would say this pen is just as good if not better than it's competing brand of permanent ultra fine pens. The quality is very nice. It has a lot of ink in it. I'd recommend to always put the lid on tight so it doesn't dry out. I used these markers for writing letters and correcting some of my daughters school work. If you need a red marker I recommend these ones.

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this marker. The quality of the ink is great it doesn’t smudge. I would touch the ink immediately after writing and it stayed put. The ultra-fine tip works very well compared to other markers of this style I’ve tried. For example it creates a nice solid line throughout while writing. And you can effortlessly write upwards which I’ve found can be difficult due to resistance with other markers. The quantity is just right. It’s enough to have in various places plus spares. I mainly used these markers with my daily planner and writing lists. I think the ease of writing with this style of marker was the most surprising for me and I was happy with it.

Quite handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though these are labeled markers they work great as a pen. I used them for making lists or adding things to calendars while my husband used them at his office to write things down and take notes. The ink bleeds through paper a little but it doesn’t smear or smudge like a lot of fine tip pens do. It dried instantly which was one of my concerns it being a marker and me being left handed I tend to smear things occasionally when writing but that didn’t happen when using these. The fine tip is great it makes circling things easy without covering up letters. I would recommend these markers!

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been currently using these to go over my kiddos work from school. I'm enjoying the ease of use and how well they glide on the paper unlike other fine tips that I'm always weary of ripping the paper with it's tips. These ones however work smoothly. The 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that no matter how quickly you move while writing it seems as though it will create a large dot at the beginning and ending from where you originally put the pen down and then right as you finish to pull the pen up. Nothing that can't be overlooked I just know I'm the type of person that will sometimes set the pen on the paper and then think for a second before writing anything which in turn causes large dots on the paper. The attached photo shows quickly writing something and you can still see the dots. Otherwise overall I will continue to use them and enjoy the ease of not ripping anymore paper work fine print thanks to these.

Really Enjoy These Quality Pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this quality red permanent marker pen. It was long lasting and created the perfect thinness/thickness to be able to use it for all sorts of writing needs. It had a good amount of ink to it when using the marker and did not spread and also did not have any struggle in writing. I really like the way that the pen wrote and glided across the page. The ultra fine tip was thin but not too thin. It was literally a perfect in-between. I really appreciated that these pens came in a 12 pack for I felt like I will be able to use these and not have to miss them when it runs out!
