Great for labeling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers write clearly due to the fine tip though the line is still thick enough that I’d use it for labeling or small signs rather than everyday writing. The ink flows smoothly and dries quickly a plus for us lefties who are constantly smudging marker lines. However the ink does bleed through standard printer paper so could potentially leave ink stains on your writing surface.

Good Choice

I found the fine tip to be most useful when writing on different materials and paper types. I appreciate that the marker does not have a strong odor like some other brands. Would recommend!

Our household goes through many permanent markers between school and home life and this brand hits all the marks for us! The fine tip is great for labeling which we do a lot of around here as a family of 7. After using it lots this month I am continuously impressed with the quality and ink of these markers. We will continue to purchase these permanent markers and excited to look for other colors.

Unique color and consistent performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love finding a dark permanent marker color that is not black--this navy color is dark enough to label items clearly but the blue looks more stylish. The smell is strong but not atypical for permanent markers. The color lasts and the tip allows for clean expressive writing. I would definitely buy again.

Look Ma My Hand is Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m left handed so one of my biggest concerns is smudging as I’m writing. As you’ll see below the side of my hand is clean once I finished writing on a variety of surfaces using the Staples Duramark Permanent Marker. The only smudge I had was a little transfer on my fingertip after running my finger over a plastic sign IMMEDIATELY after quickly writing. But on that same type of sign counting to 5 resulted in no smudges! Another thing I really appreciated is that writing on a freezer bag resulted in no transfer of the white label box onto the marker tip. While I don’t think it’s ever a great idea to write on regular paper with a permanent marker (other types are better for that purpose) I tried it with the Duramark anyway. It doesn’t bleed excessively through budget printer paper. Overall I’m very pleased with the Duramark Permanent Marker. The body isn’t bulky or awkward. The marker tip maintained its shape well. Any lefty can tell you those are big deals because we often have an unconventional pen grasp and can put a lot of pressure on a tip. If you’re looking for quality vibrant low smudge and low odor permanent markers I can confidently recommend the Staples Duramark Permanent Markers.

Bleeding pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the amount of pens that came in the pack. The fine tip is nice but the pens bled through the paper. These are not good to use on notebook paper. They bled and it made me not want to use the pens. The ink quality was ok but I didn't like the pens overall.

A Reliable Marker for Every Task

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried up a dozen of the Staples Duramark Permanent Markers with the fine blue tips and I've been putting them to good use. First off the ink quality is solid. It goes on smoothly dries relatively quickly and the blue is a nice vibrant shade. I haven't experienced any significant fading or bleeding even on various surfaces like cardboard and plastic. The fine tip is exactly what I needed. It's precise allowing me to write or mark details without any issues. I've used them for labeling storage boxes marking tools and even for some detailed craft projects. The tip holds up well too without getting frayed or worn down easily. As for the quantity a dozen is perfect for my needs. I keep a few in my office some in the garage and a couple in my craft supplies. It's great to have them readily available and I don't have to worry about running out anytime soon. The value for the price is definitely there. I've used these markers for a variety of tasks. From simple labeling and marking to more detailed projects they've proven to be reliable and effective. If you need a good everyday permanent marker with a fine tip and a decent quantity the Staples DuraMark is a solid choice.
