This is higher quality at a lower price compared to what I was getting at Costco. A novel advantage is that the packaging/wrap for each ream is easier to remove. The print quality is superior and the machine seems to run smoother. This is paper that I am more confident to use; especially with two-sided copying. I actually compared it to my older paper by holding it up to the light and seeing a much more consistent tone. Although I would not use it as stationery; I will definitely use it for all averyday purposes.
Smooth finish. This 20# paper seems thinner and ink bleeds more than Hammermill's 20# stock. This Staples Multipurpose stock is fine for everyday internal use and one-sided document drafts yet not good for two-sided printed materials for professionial/commercial use.
Being using this paper for everyday printing & uaseage for over 7 years never let me down. Will see if this changing the outer wrapper from plastic to paper will make an issue during storage.
