I bought two to start with and my nieces were so pleased with them (I was pleased with the quality as well) that on another shopping spree I bought several more to give to my cousins' children as well in order to have a substantial folder for their school work -- something that would "survive" the younger generation!

These even outlast the kids

While shopping for back to school supplies I decided to try these notebooks. Now that they've had them the kids don't want any others. They hold up to being thrown around and being shoved in and out of back packs and the covers never rip off. The Durable Poly Cover is exactly that durable and the color choices are getting better and better. I believe the teal is the current favorite. Because they are just a solid color the kids love to draw their own designs which stimulates their creativity which I love.

While I am usually budget oriented my daughter convinced me to buy these notebooks. They stood up very well through an entire school year of fairly rough use moving from backpack to class to locker to library to activities to home and so forth. In addition my daughter was able to match the wide array of available colors of these notebooks with her other school supplies that we bought for the school year so that she could color code each of her subjects. She was quite pleased with that system.
