I always purchase these. Covers and backs are strong and don't break. My children use them for school too.

This notebook will serve the purpose of your needs. The tear resistant poly cover is an added bonus. Strong enough to keep your notes safe from the notebook being thrown into the book bag with many books and school supplies. I should have bought more. The perforations of the tear out sheets work great. The sheets release easily and cleanly almost to easily just be careful to not put too much pressure on the paper when writing notes. The heavy duty back cover is great also to keep the pages from creasing from the constant jostling around in the book bag. Will definitely buy again.

Perforation doesn't work

The only reason to get a notebook with perforated pages is for the pages to tear along the perforations easily. These do not. You must rip the entire page out and then fold along the perforation and still have it not tear well. Do not recommend this book.

perfect for college classes

Was looking for a small notebook that I could use for taking notes as well as storing handouts so I wouldn't need a binder. These notebooks work perfect with the double pockets and hold papers for the whole quarter! 100 sheets tends to be enough and I always end up with some extra pages. Beimg able to tear them out when you need to turn something in is also very handy with these. Lightweight and don't take up a lot of space!

Great when the perforation works

I sometimes buy this Staples brand notebook instead of the more expensive kind. But I often encounter problems tearing out sheets even carefully. Sometimes the Staples brand notebooks work great other times the whole pad is consistently difficult. In all other ways these work well.
