Cover is very durable

This notebook will serve the purpose of your needs. The tear resistant poly cover is an added bonus. Strong enough to keep your notes safe from the notebook being thrown into the book bag with many books and school supplies. I should have bought more. The perforations of the tear out sheets work great. The sheets release easily and cleanly almost to easily just be careful to not put too much pressure on the paper when writing notes. The heavy duty back cover is great also to keep the pages from creasing from the constant jostling around in the book bag. Will definitely buy again.

Great notebook for the price

Wow I thought we were reviewing this notebook. I find it sturdy like the uniformity and color density of the lines and the solid plastic covers are durable so far but sensual and sexy I don't see it unless you get turned on by primary colors. As for smell it smells like a paper notebook no special fragrances that I get compliments on when I open it up and show people my work. However that might be a new exciting product for Staples to consider. So overall this is just a good durable notebook with good paper quality where the pages stay in tacked on the spiral ring. Great for the price.

Not great if you want to take the pages out

Pages don’t tear out easily and it’s nearly impossible to get them out without ripping the 3 holes that are there for putting the pages into binders. The holes are placed too close to the perforations.

It is a good product for the price. It could have more pages however it is good enough. Small lines to add more room for writing and overall a choice compared to others like it.

I find that I like Tru Red items this composition book being no exception. It's study has a nice color and is college ruled.
