Printer accepts 4 x 6 Index Cards
on May 3, 2010

My Epson printer will not accept 3x5 index cards but will accept 4x6 - so I print on the 4x6 and triom them dow to 3.5x5 after printing on the original card - a pain but it works for me. Solving a problem around the inabillities of my printer. Next time I will check what size paper my printer will work on.

They need greater weight to make them a bit less "floppy." Otherwise they are fine -- smooth to write on and ink does not bleed through.

size and unruled were what I needed

I've been buying these for several years; they're perfect for adding to a card set we use for reading instruction (they're the same size so fit in the box). It's convenient for me to go to my local store which is close by and pick up a pack. Being a budget shopper I don't like the price that well. They are a good thickness and I don't have to cut them to size so ready for my use. I'll have to remember to get some the next time you have a bag sale. I've told others about these because you can't get the plain white ones just anywhere.

Not what I needed

Stock too thin for my intended purpose but no way to determine that without buying 500 cards (even though I only needed many fewer). Packs of 100 would have been better.

4x6 Unruled Index Cards
on January 28, 2015

STAPLES is the only place I have found that carries 4x6 UNRULED index cards. The only drawback is that you have to buy them in a package of 500. Will I use them? Of course it's just that I don't have a lot of storage space in my office. These unruled cards are a staple in my everyday life (no pun intended). I use them to copy recipes - 4x6 is easier to read and my hp copier likes this size better than 3x5. I use them in workshops. I've even write notes on them that I mail when I ran out of note cards. So STAPLES please don't discontinue this product. Thanks
