The older version Staples grid 3x5 cards had a grid on one side and plain white on the other. The grid was also lighter making it easier to write or draw on the grid side and be able to easily read what is written. The New Tru Red version has a grid on both sides and a much darker grid making it tougher to read what is entered on either side. Not as useful as the previous version of cards. I will not be purchasing the new version 3x5 cards in the future as the usefulness to me has diminished with the change in design.

I was looking for classic stiff cards with blue and red ink. These are flimsier than I was looking for and all of the stripes are a drab grey.
