Poor quality

I have been buying staples brand index cards for years. It was a good value for the price and I would buy them in quantity. These index cards are definitely thinner then usual. They are now flimsy and more difficult to separate. What happened? I used to work in an office supply store years ago. The paper used goes by weight. The paper that is now being used is definitely not as heavy. If possible please go back to selling the better quality index cards even if that means raising the price a bit. It does not make sense to buy a lesser quality product just to save a few cents. Too difficult to work with these. Thanks

My mother is 88 years old has trouble seeing and definitely trouble remembering things. She uses the white index cards every single day to write down what she needs to know for that particular day the week ahead and the month ahead. She also uses the index cards to make grocery lists keep track of other items she wants me to purchase for her what needs to be done around the house. You name it and my mother is most likey keeping track of whatever it is by writing down. She updates them every day. Her life on white index cards.

Instead of being stiff a little bit like cardboars these are too much like a sheet of paper so they tear easily. I can't seem to find any that are adequate although I used to be asble to get them almost everywhere. I guess these thin cards must be cheaper to manufacture but they are terrible.

Maybe a little thinner than other card stock but they worked fine. It was less than $2 more than just buying a pack of 100 cards. My daughter uses them to review vocabulary words in her Spanish class.

Flash Cards

I purchased these cards to study for a course. They are great because they are not white! the colors somehow allow me to remember quicker. I purchased white flash cards as well and that's how I know that the colored ones seem to stick to my memory much faster and better. I always shop at Staples for all of my office and study needs. I love Staples because they have everything I need and a great selection! The employees are great they are polite and they know their products. Thanks Staples!.
