Not exactly what I needed.

I would have been happier if I could have purchased packets of a single color for the project I was working on. Instead I had to buy more than needed but then maybe that's the idea?

Excellent for Short Term Projects
on July 2, 2014

I have a new organization method. I use a photo album that has the slide in pockets. I write tasks on 3x5 cards and slide them into the pockets. This allows me to reorder them as needs arise. I can also keep them easily in categories this way. I pick up the photo albums cheap at thrift stores. And I bought this 500 pack of 3x5s from Staples. They are thinner than usual 3x5 cards. Not so thin that they are see through. Just thin enough that they can easily get bent. So they are perfect for organization like I am doing just not for long term projects or things like recipe cards.

Flimsy stock

These index cards (some folks call them file cards) look the same as those I've been using for years but they are printed on thin flimsy card stock. They don't have the right stiffness the right "feel." Since this item is packaged in shrink wrap there's no way for the consumer to realize this until he gets home. Staples you guys can do better than this!

The more colors the merrier

I bought the Staples 3" x 5" line ruled neon assorted color index cards (33/pack) from the local Staples. I needed to get colored index cards and was ready to consider getting several difference packs of individual colors. I ended up choosing the assorted pack instead. The assorted pack was actually priced cheaper than the individual colored ones much to my surprise. The quality's good and I like the neon color motif. Now if I can only find a backlight to make this glow in the dark.

Sturdy and Bright Index Cards!

I'm an elementary school teacher so I use these cards just about every day. They are the same (or close to) the thickness of card stock so they are very durable. The colors are all very bright and vibrant. They don't fade at all.
