Most of my latter years I have purchased cheap coffee, as a cost cutting measure. I guess I had sot of gotten used to it, but I usually had to go light -medium roast to avoid the bitterness of dark roast coffee. Therefore, I purchased this more expensive Green Mountain - Horizon blend as an experiment to see if the problem of bitterness was because of the cheap dark roast I would try to "stomach." To my surprise the difference was considerable - the best cup of coffee this dark roast lover has ever had!
