[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are the perfect pencils!! I have used several pencils throughout my life but none compare to the quality and comfort of this one. The grip is very comfortable and does not leave any indentions on your fingers as the basic wood pencils do. The fine refillable lead writes super smooth and is perfect for my math class. I also gave the extra pencils and coupons provided to my classmates who also loved the way the eraser cleaned up mistakes perfectly. My kids enjoyed using these pencils as they are always drawing something. I definitely would refer people buy these pencils over any other pencil on the market. This will be a future purchase of mine for me and my children.

Mechanical versus wooden

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have had to buy both mechanical and traditional wooden pencils for my boys. My oldest enjoys mechanical but my youngest hated them. These he really likes. They don't scratch and squeak like the traditional mechanical pencils do. The writing is darker and doesn't require redoing it or going over it multiple times. The eraser is strongly made and erases well. The grip on the pencils make them very comfortable for those long days of writing reports and so on. We were very pleased with these pencils and felt they were quite a nice package with the extra lead and so on.

The schools are asking for mechanical pencils to prevent constant sharpening of traditional pencils that disrupts the other students. We will continue to buy these pencils.

They write so smooth and it is very easy to erase. My kids were super excited to try them out. And once they did, they loved them just as I did. Compared to other pencils, these are by far much better. The lead is much thicker therefore it doesn't break like other products. I highly recommend that everyone tries these pencils!

It was also perfect timing as we are getting school supplies together for the upcoming school year. My daughter who will be going to 7th grade, snatched up a pack of these and is really excited to use these at school. She prefers mechanical pencils, so that she doesn't have to continuously sharpen her pencil. I keep one in my purse and have used it for several things and even took a couple to work. There are times at work when I need to mark papers with pencil instead of pen and these are perfect. I love their bright colors and the lead creates a super smooth line that just seems to make my handwriting incredibly neat!

The first day I gave them each their favorite color bogey we're stoked to have new nice pencils. I think the way the pencil feels in their hands makes such a difference in how they view writing.
