Best Mechanical Pencils

I have been using BIC for years and have used a lot of mechanical pencils in my day but these, I have to say are my hands down our favorite pencils! They write so much smoother and the lead is much darker. I like the fact they have do have lots of lead (longer use) and comes with an extra eraser for all 5 pencils in the package is great, it's nice for when you have a son who can be pretty hard on them! We sure love the built in grip! These mechanical pencils are so easy to hold onto! My son and I will enjoy these! My daughter loves them also she is getting great use of these as she in college now!

Not a Favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 year old daughter is the mechanical pencil user in the household so these comments are hers. She does not like that you remove the eraser to put in more lead. She says that once the eraser gets worn down, its very hard to take it out. She thinks the little cap on the top of the eraser is a waste because there is not where to put it when using the eraser. She says the lead writes to light, but that it erases well. They are not her first choice.

Wow! Game changer for mechanical pencils

He has always been a fan of mechanical pencils but since getting these Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils he loves them even more. He likes all the colors and I enjoy the fact that when he erases he doesn't have to tear through the paper to get the writing off of it. He also says he thinks the lead is more durable then other mechanical pencils he has used in the past, although I still wish it were stronger and lasted better. Overall we are very pleased with these new products and will be buying more going forward.

Bic Color Mech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some awesome pencils. I remember when I was a kid and the pencils were dull, boring, and just the plain normal colors that everyone had. I recommend getting something that grabs the kiddos attention, even your own. These pencils do just that! The grip is amazing and a lot better than the typical pencil grips that you have to buy extra, great for little hands. #BICVelocity and #GotItFree

Fun colors and excited kids

My daughter was so excited when she saw them and loves all the bright colors. This was the first year she could use mechanical pencils in school and she was so happy these were the ones she was going to use. Fun pencils make back to school time a little more exciting in my house hold.
