Great for a pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these from Bic to try for free - and first let me say, I HATE pencils. I hate writing with them. I hate everything about them and prefer to use pens. But...I actually liked this pencil! The lead was dark and smooth, and almost made it feel like I was writing with a pen! My kids will be taking packs of these to school, and I'll even be using them at home. And that's quite the compliment from someone who hates pencils!

Mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think BIC makes a great product.I traded my regular pencils for Bic mechanical pencils. The lead held up very well it wasn't constantly breaking,so I didn't have to stop and sharpen any pencils,Bic is easy to load the lead and easy to use . The erasers don't last long though,but maybe I write too much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is one of the higher quality than some of the other brand mechanical pencils on market. I like the clean eraser and the thickness of the lead. I also like the feel of the pencil. It has the weight of a pen. I didn't like the colors. Too bright for my high school student. Also gave it 4 stars because after awhile the entire point retracts back in the pencil causing you to have to stop and click it back down a few times.

Great new mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! We got 2- packages of Bic's new velocity men handicap pencil. What a great new pencil. There are 5 menchanical pencils, 1 pack of 5 refillable erasures and extra lead in the pack. The pencils are in 5 colors; blue, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Perfect colors for the kids to take back to school or to keep track of which pencil is there's. If the color selection wasn't enough. The way the pencil writes is the best! It's a .7mm lead. Perfect for any work. When writing the lead is smooth and glides on the paper. There isn't resistance like a normal mechanical pencil or a regular wood pencil. The new Bic Velocity Mechanical pencil looks so Much like a pen but it's a pencil. The comfort grip makes writing easy no matter how long you write. Which we love! The eraser has a clear cap on the end which is quite annoying for my kids because there are lots of little mistakes that they need to erase. Most of the caps have been thrown out. But the erasers do a fantastic job getting rid of unwanted pencil marks. Erasing is clean with these new erasers on the new pencils. It doesn't take much effort to fix a mistake. A couple clicks on the end and you have new lead to continue writing. We enjoy knowing the kids will be able to use these even for their tests. Everyone, including hubby, wants one. Thank You Bic, for free Velocity menchanical pencils to try out very please with the new product. We will not go back to another brand after using this pencil.

So easy & fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new mechanical BIC pencils are great. The colors are a great & fun selection, they make writing easier & smoother. The barrel helps reduce the stress of writing on your hand. The eraser has a cap, which is a plus. The eraser works great & with an easy swipe, corrections can be made. They come with extra lead & the lead is strong & does not break off easy. Amazing! Great job BIC.

Bic Velocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give Bic Velocity a 5/5!!! They are the best lead pencils that we have ever used!!! The colors are fun, the grip is perfect making it easy to hold and write. My kids were thrilled with the additional lead packs and erasers. The pencils wrote so smoothly and clearly that it was almost like using a pen. Another really neat feature was how clean it erased, like no other lead pencil does. I know that these were a keeper in my house, we love Bic Velocity!! We will definitely be buying more and recommending these lead pencils to friends as we all prepare for back to school shopping!!

They don't break as easily as others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two high schoolers and a kindergartener this fall! (I know, crazy, right?) PLUS all of my kids (minus the 5 month old) love to draw! These are left where even the 3 year old can get them (next to the scrap paper) and they don't ever have to ask for MY pens/pencils! They work wonderfully!

Smooth as butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only Myself but my kids think....These pencils are awesome!! Not only are they smooth in writing but they are comfortable to write with! The awesome designs also make it "cool for school" the led is durable and doesn't break off like the cheap made mechanical pencils! The clean erasing really erases!!
