[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Bic velocity mechanical pencils work great! They write smooth and are easy to refill. The erasers work good and It comes with extra lead and erasers also. I like that they come in different colors so everyone can get their favorite color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I are the same when it comes to writing utensils. I have so many types and adding these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils to the collection has made me a happy person. My daughter was also so excited and of course had to have some too. They are great and write so smoothly. Oh, and did I mention they look great too? Oh, yeah, definitely a must have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got the pencils my son swiped them out my hand. He hasn't stopped talking about them. He says they write perfect and not only does it come with the lead refill but it also comes with an eraser refill which he says is super important being in high school and repeatedly erasing when writing reports.

High Marks for Bic Velocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is mechanical pencil freaks! The kids prefer them at school as they never have to worry about sharpening them. After being chosen as a BzzAgent to try these pencils (#GotItFree), there was great anticipation for their arrival and they did not disappoint. After enjoying them at home, the real test would be at school. After checking with my kids as well as the friends that they passed the extras out to, the concensus was mutual by all: They love them! The most common comment is the smoothness of the lead as they write. Other pros are the color choices, the lead doesn't easily break and the effectiveness of the eraser. The only single complaint was that the lead was thicker than their liking. After a quick check on Bic's website, I saw that the pencil also comes in .9 mm and .5 mm so that it would work for anyone. If you're looking for a good mechanical pencil, #BICVelocity is a fantastic choice that is readily found and reasonably priced.

No More Sharpening!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are perfect for my kids, especially my daughter. I homeschool my daughter and she drives me absolutely batty how often she would sharpen her pencils. She likes her pencils to be really sharp which she can only achieve by sharpening often. With BIC Velocity, she doesn't ever have to sharpen and has a sharp point consistently! Better yet, I can read her work easier because they write dark and with a fineness that doesn't make her words jumbled together. She is happy because these come in her favorite color...pink! I am thrilled because I no longer have to listen to that pencil sharpener!
