Ready for school..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are really excited to go back to school with the new Velocity Mechanical Pencils. The colors are very hip and in-style. I was extremely surprised that the pencils came with refill lead.. and also erasers. I've done some pricing and the price for these pencils are a bit high. I'm hoping they last longer and work better then most mechanical pencils, otherwise I will not invest more money into purchasing them on a regular basis.

Bic Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Bic mechanical pencils are perfect! They have everything your kids need in a pencil and more. They are made with strong lead so your pencil isn't constantly breaking. I like how they write so smooth and easy and have an awesome eraser on top to erase with clarity. They have a easy grip for comfort. There's nothing I can say but positive things about Bic mechanical pencils. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to my family and friends.

Truly Phenomenal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly when I opened up my box I thought that they were pens.When you do a fast glance it really looks like a pen. I think that this mechanical pencil is different from the other one for these reasons. When you hold it next to a old school bic mechanical pencil . The BicVelocity looks a lot sexier. Rubbing my fingers up and down on it it feels like it has curves, or more of a hour glass shape to it, vs the thin straight up and down of the old school mechanical pencil. So starting from the top I see that the eraser now has a plastic cap on it to keep the eraser clean. Awesome, nice touch. just like the old school one it does have a clip so you can clip it to your pocket or what ever. The main shaft is a lot wider which is great because it feels better when I hold it in my hand. With the old school ones I felt like I had to pay more attention to how tight my fingers where around the pencil. The finger grip part is nice. It looks like it is going to be super hard , but it has some give to it. So you are able to write/drawl a lot longer. The old mechanical pencils just hard plastic. Had to put them down every 10 minutes.The retractable point. This is a cool little thing to have because the whole metal part and the point go back in . vs. just the lead that went in with the old bic mechanical pencils .. Now onto the writing/drawling with this pencil. I love to write in cursive with this. What a difference on smoothness there is compared to the old mechanical pencils . Doesn't take long to make your art work look perfect cause the way the lead it . you can make it dark or light. Fill small spaced or big spaces in now time. I'm getting more of these for my kids to start school with

Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils! ! And so does my son! This is perfect for the new school year! He will only use mechanical pencils so I'm so happy we got them for free! I love the different colors, extra lead, and how we never need to look for a pencil sharpener again! If I were to buy this product I would like to know the price of it and how well it works before I would purchase it.I really like that there is refills included with the pencils. Most you have to just throw away after, and I feel that is a waste. I do feel the pencils are a little pricey, but they are good quality and I recommend them.

It allows my kids to explore the color and have different options on what color of the pencil they want to use. The strong lead erases cleanly . It like you never wrote anything. I am extremely trilled to know that my kids are excited about writing thanks to the colorful Bic velocity mechanical pencils.

Best Mexhanical Pencil I have Ever Used

I write pre-sentence reports on defendants and part of this job requires me to interview defendants in jail. I always write in pencil when I interview people because I need to be able to erase or correct information and writing in pencil helps me differentiate their writing from mine. Today I had to interview three people, which meant three hours of writing and I thought omg perfect time to test out this new product from BIC. All I can say is wow. I have NEVER used a mechanical pencil that did not break(well the lead) on me. Bic velocity pencils did not break at all on me. They didn't leave red marks on my fingers and erased extremely well. I was extremely impressed. Any pencil that I can use continuously, for three hours, is a hit in my book. And so far in two years BIC Velocity is the only mechanical pencil to not disappoint me. I fully intend to purchase more.

Smooth and bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the bright colors--easy to find my pencil in the bottom of the backpack and feels festive to use them. I compared a store brand mechanical pencil with the Bic Velocity pencils and found these to write more smoothly and darker. Also the leads weren't as fragile.
