Who would have thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who would have thought a mechanical pencil would just make my day! I must confess...I love mechanical pencils. I always have and always will. I love how the lead is always sharp and the eraser seems to erase so cleanly. Well, the BIC Velocity is no different only now the bar has been raised.
This pencil is wider than usual. It seems more like the grip of a pen. I love the built in grip and how sturdy it feels. It doesn't feel like that cheap material that will eventually flake off.
Now for writing...oh my, it was so smooth. I don't know if the lead is any different, but there was such a different feel to this pencil. I never felt like the lead was getting ready to snap if I accidentally pressed down too hard on my paper. This pencil is awesome! I will admit...I kept one for myself and gave the rest of the pack to my daughter as she starts school.

Great Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have children who are in grade school, however, i also use pencils more than pens when note taking. I normally use the old fashion number two pencils, but these new Bic Pencils are greats, durable, easy to write with. My daughter who is using them to keep up n her reading and math during the summer love them. I have been able to pass a few out and waiting for feedback from friends.

Kids and I both love them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not too picky with my pencils... if they work and have erasers, I'm set. The kids, on the other hand, are VERY picky. For some reason they always prefer mechanical pencils so they were super excited when I got these in the mail for them. No need to fight over the colors- my girl and boy gladly sorted which ones they wanted. It was very convenient to have the lead and erasers packaged separately. I think it really motivates my kids to practice their writing if they like the tools they're using. A+ from me!

New and Improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know how I would react to these pencils. I mean aren't all pencils the same??? I really liked the appearance of these pencils. Bright and colorful things seem to draw me to them . I am more apt to buy something pretty and colorful than something yellow and plain. They work great!! They write really smooth and are easy to reload the lead once it is empty.
I would highly recommend these to anyone that uses pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils from BOX for free as a product reviewer through BzzAgent. When opening my package, I first noticed the coloring and shape of the pencils. They are are very brightly colored to make writing even more fun! The shape of these pencils are unique also which made it a lot easier on my hands as I was writing with them which made writing way more enjoyable. What I liked best is that usually with any other pencil my hand would cramp up and/or get so sore I'd have to take a break but that definitely wasn't the case here. With BIC Velocity I was able to effortlessly zoom through my work. Which made it even better that the eraser worked so well, it didn't leave any smudged black spots or rip my papers! I definitely recommend BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils to anyone who wants a smooth writing experience and is sick of your traditional boring, yellow pencil that doesn't even erase right. #BICVelocity #GotItFree

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I tend to bear down when writing and break lead easily. These pencils are strong and durable which will be helpful when my six and ten year old kids are doing their homework and drawing. The lead is smooth with no breaks in the lines. The colors are great without being obnoxious. The grip is comfortable and just the right amount of squishy. The eraser has a little cap on it which is a nice touch and the BIC Velocity set comes with extra lead and erasers. I am very pleased with the overall feel of these pencils. They feel like quality, not cheap plastic.

Taking our Velocity Pencils on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Velocity pencil while making our school supply list because I needed a narrow writing utensil to write in such a small space! Wise choice because it not only writes smoothly, but also thin clean lines! The erase starts out a bit smudgy, but once used it erases well. The kids used them to mark off the things on their list. They were cool cats in the store! The lead didn't break once while we were using them in the store.
