New favorite pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this pencils are a great addition to your back to school shopping list. I have a high school daughter who always wants the coolest accessories and most unique ones he can find. When he saw this mechanical pencils he said that not only did they look really cool but worked great. he asked if we could stack up on them since he goes through a lot of pencils through the school year. he loved how smoothly they wrote and how well the eraser worked. She also liked how the outside of the pencil came in different see through colors and the grip on the front and how the eraser was protected by a little lid. Overall, he was really happy with it and it's definitely a much higher quality then your average mechanical pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a HUGE mechanical pencil fan, and BIC is always my favorite! These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are no exception! As a person who works in accounting, I'm ALWAYS looking for a good pencil! I also love puzzle books, and will only do them in pencil so I can erase! These pencils write great, but I hate the cap! Every time I'd turn my pencil over to erase, there was that darn cap on it! Easy fix?? THROW THE CAP AWAY! They fit well in my hand and have a built in pencil grip, but they feel slightly larger than a normal pencil and definitely larger than any other BIC pencils I've used. I'm not sure why, since there is no more lead in them than other BICs. As an accounting person, I love that these pencils come with additional lead. There seems to be 3 pieces of lead in the pencils already, and you get a pack with 12 additional sticks of lead. As a a parent... I hate that these pencils come with additional lead... It's just more for my kids to play with! :) I'll have to look into the price of these pencils to see if they're worth me switching from the basic BICs to these new BIC Velocity, but if the price is similar, I'd definitely consider switching! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free package of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils to try and review. I have used many different types of mechanical pencils, and I have to say I really like the way these write. They are easy to hold, the grip is comfortable, and they feel a lot like an ink pen. The eraser works well. The "lead" is easy to refill. I think I like writing with these better than most other pencils I've tried. I will look for these in the store when I go to stock up on school supplies this fall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very smooth writing with these pencils! The eraser works very well and doesn't smudge the pencil marks like some erasers do when you try and erase something. My kids are very excited to use these pencils when school starts up again.

Best Mechanical Pencil

I especially like the cover over the eraser and how you can replace the erasers.
