No longer does she have to continually worry about getting her pencil sharpened all she has to do is click it and start writing. The only issue she had with the pencil is the eraser is not that good and does not fully erase the writing without vigorous application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are fantastic, and I would definitely purchase again. Grip-barrel is not to thick or thin, and easy to hold. Lead-Lead is nice and dark, even with gentle pressure. Has not broken yet and erases cleanly. Eraser-Erases cleanly with no smudging. I like that it comes with extra leads and erasers. Only complaint is that the colors are rather feminine, and neither of my sons wanted to use the pink or purple pencils!

The pencils are different vibrant colors, which are nice for the kids. They come with extra lead and erasers, which is a must have. The erasers don't smudge when they erase something.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC hit their mark for the ease of writing ability with the Velocity pencils. I found the writing was very dark compared to the other mechanical pencils I've tried. This is a very good thing! No more pressing so hard that I have to break lead often! The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the eraser is still the same quality as a typical mechanical pencil. Overall, I would say it's one of the best mechanical pencils in the market.
