Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually avoid mechanical pencils for a few reasons. I tend to put a lot of pressure on writing tools, so the lead usually breaks on me resulting in a lot of lost product. It also is hard to refill the pencils trying to fit the lead into the tiny hole.
With the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils, I have not had a problem. The lead seems to be very sturdy, and has not broken on us. That is a major bonus because I really didn't like wasting the product, even if it was just little pieces. The lead writes really smooth, and does not smear. It is even when writing, not too dark or too light. It is comfortable to hold, and doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like some pencils are. I also like you can refill with new lead and re-use the pencil part to help the environment and save trees. These are so durable that they should last for year. They will get a lot of use from my school aged child and other members of my family. I would definitely recommend these pencils.

great pencils and colors...but break easily

The Best Mechanical Pencils out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far as pencils go, BIC has cornered the market on the Mechanical one. I had always gone for the cheap pencils, thinking there couldn't be THAT much of a difference. Then I tried the new #BICVelocity Pencils. WOW! The smoothness of the writing! You don't get that scratchy feeling with these pencils! The thoroughness of the eraser! You can't even tell that I had to erase a misspelled word on the list pictured! Plus, I love that it has a little cap on the eraser. The retractable tip is something I have never seen before. Very handy in a purse of backpack. I told my daughter the pencils were for her, but I may just have to keep this pack, and buy her a new one! #GotItFree

Best Pencils Ever
