[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were excited to try the new mechanical pencils for school they like them better than regular pencils, because they say it lets them write better to where the teacher can actually understand their handwriting.

WONDERFUL PENCIL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use mechanical pencils everyday at work and my kids use them at school (when in session). I can't explain to you how much I like these pencils over other mechanical pencils. This pencil is easier to hold because it is more like a pen than a pencil so it is thicker and has a gripper on it which also helps. I really like how the led comes out (once again looks like a pen). It breaks much less often than other mechanical pens because it has more support than just coming out of the pencil itself. I like the bright colors that it comes in too. Only downside, which really isn't a downside is that because it looks and feels like a pen, when I go to use a pen I often start to write w/this pencil (manly because I use it so often it is literally right in front of me at all times).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that these BICs are sweet and this campaign is a great one for a whole family. Not just one person in a family can use a pencils but the whole family unless your an infant. So These pencils are right up my families ally. The way they write is smooth and the way they look are cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy that I got these pencils. My son loves the gripping. He thinks it's is very smooth and swift to write with. I have also planned on giving my sister's kids the other pack of pencils. I can't wait till my son goes to school with these pencils. I feel these pencils are the real deal. We got these pencils free! Awesome.

Great choice for a mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great and a perfect accessory for the new school year! They are vibrant and fun colors with a great grip and nice strong lead that will not break easily. I am a write who tends to put a lot of pressure as I write on paper and these pencils withstood all of the pressure that I use. Typically I cannot use mechanical pencils because they break but these withheld and passed the test. I will be purchasing these from now on! Great job BIC making such a great mechanical pencil. #BICVelocity #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the the bic velocity mechanical were great pencils. They done such a great job writing on paper and erasing when necessary. My kids really enjoyed writing with them and even put a couple up for school which starts in just a couple weeks. The pencils have a really smooth way of writing on paper and the lead being bigger made everything more legiable. The lead is easily erased when the kids make and error and believe me its needed. Even though the lead was thicker they still erased great. Over all the kids loved the pencils. They say that is the pencils they want me to start to buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 year is obsessed with mechanical pencils! I always find myself trying to find new erasers and when I can find one that fits the pencil it is basically trash because the lead falls out of the top. This set is awesome because it comes with extra lead and erasers. My daughter loves the colors and even shared with some friends. They think I rock! Thanks!
