Almost the perfect pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great! To me they feel like a pen when using it and I love it. The only thing keeping me from a full 5 stars is the eraser is smaller than other BIC mechanical pencils, and the cap on the eraser seems so unnecessary to me and is just something that will get lost easily. The metal tip reminds me of the look of a pen, and it is a little thicker than other mechanical pencils, which makes it easier to hold. It also has a nice grip area and it just feels good in my hand while using it. It is easily refillable so it doesn't have to just get thrown away when the lead is gone. I also haven't had an issue with the lead breaking easily, which can be annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new mechanical pencils are pretty cool. The colors are fun and they are smooth to write with without having to push hard on the paper. Something different than boring yellow wood pencils! ##BICVelocity #GotItFree I love trying new things FIRST! :D

Love Bic Velocity!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used other Bic products previously, so I was familiar w/the brand. However, this was the first time I tried their Velocity mechanical pencils. Upon receiving my pencils, the first thing I noticed about them were the bright and vibrant colors of the casing. That will get your day started in the right direction. Next, I noticed that the package came with not just lead refills (which you usually have to purchase separately w/other brands), but it also included eraser refills... bonus!!! Operating was similar to a pen, in that you just click the top. The rubber grips provided extra comfort, while the pencil itself wrote very smoothly. Although I found that the erasers didn't erase the marks completely, it was adequate... about the same as other mechanical pencils that I've used. The fact that they are #2 pencils is also great, as this is what's required in most schools. Overall, I really like these pencils, as they provided a great writing experience. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the eraser, but that's not a deal-breaker. Anyway, it looks like I will need to purchase extra packs of the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils for my kids, as I'm not sharing mine! d:-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved these pencils. He was so excited to get them. His face lit up when he opened the box and he said I've been wanting this!" He has used them to draw and write extensively from that day. I am using the pencil at work and find that it is comfortable to use for long periods of time. I definitely would buy these in the future."
