best mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to shy away from mechanical pencils because the lead always breaks or you can't erase completely. Well not anymore. I tried my Sunday puzzle with the new BIC Velocity and I am hooked. I had no problems with the lead and everything I had to erase was gone completely. I also love all the bright colors. My daughters even got in on the Sunday morning fun because they wanted to try out the new cool pencils. If a 7 and 9 year old think something is cool then it must be really cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love the Bic Velocity Pencil. They come in five exciting colors. My kids like the soft grip. This pencil isn't skinny like most pencils. The soft grip gives you something good and comfortable to hold onto. The lead is strong and doesn't break easily like most mechanical pencils.

Love the look but hard to find

The extra lead and erasers were a huge bonus that normally are not included with mechanical pencils like this. The colors were fun but too much for my sixth grade son to turn his nose up at. I would have loved to tell even more people about them but we could not find them in stores! We had to buy a different type of pencil to supplement these. Hopefully more stores will stock them soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 children that are in school (6th grade and 1st grade). My older son absolutely loves the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils! He uses only mechanical pencils in school (except for art class) and he said that these are the best he's ever used. They erase very cleanly, write very smoothly, and he likes the fact that the eraser has a cover on it so that it doesn't accumulate any lint in his backpack!! He even started using them at home before school started for the year because they came in the mail. We love them!!
