[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic pencils write very well. You can put pressure on them without the lead breaking. The lead is nice and dark and writes very smooth. My only complaint is they do not erase well at all. I am hoping once the eraser is used a bit, it will work better but right now it is like rubbing plastic over the pencil marks I want to erase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his new BIC Velocity mechanical pencils. He's been using them since he opened the pack. We recently had family game night, and he used it to keep score. It erases smoothly and the smooth rubber grip makes handling the pencil easy. He also loves all the different color options. It's super easy to use and the go to in a rush. #gotitfree #BIcVelocity

Best Mechanical Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest daughter has been using these mechanical pencils every day since they came in the mail. She loves them and I have to say I agree with her. They feel very sturdy in your hand without being too heavy. Some of the mechanical pencils we've used have a very cheap feel to them. I much prefer a pencil that doesn't feel like it's going to snap in my hands. My daughter loves to write and does so every day. She always has a pencil in her hand. She said these have a nice feel to them and when we went school supply shopping these are the pencils she picked up for the school year.

Ups and Downs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way the pencils feel, they are a good weight and sit in the hand nicely. The lead writes clearly and does not drag on the paper. Mistakes are easily cleared with the eraser. However the mechanics of advancing the lead seems touchy. I have had to take the pencils apart numerous times to clean out jammed lead. It does not always advance the lead even after several clicks also occasionally. Overall nice but some flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the smoothness of this pencil! The eraser didn't smudge and left the paper clean. The colors are fun! My daughter loved writing with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these! My 14 year old loves these! My 11 year old loves these! I have no doubt everyone I pass these along to will love these! The .7 mm lead is so much better and sturdier than the usual .5 lead. There's none of the usual breakage and frustration we have with other mechanical pencils. The fun and vibrant colors make they easy to locate in a backpack or drawer, and hopefully they will make math homework more fun. Right now, during summer vacation the girls are drawing with them every night, but I've no doubt these will be their go to pencils for the whole school year. And with the neon colors each daughter knows which one belongs to her, and they haven't lost them - a miracle! I am an avid crafter and I've used these to trace patterns and draw seam lines onto fabric. Wonderful, high quality plastic with a very smooth finish. Even the erasers are flawless, the kind that don't leave residual marks at all. I seriously can't rave enough about these pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe my child enjoys these pencils because time was spent creating the perfect jersey for back-to-school sports. The pencils are easy to use, writing easily without the lead breaking.

Best Mechanical Pencil I Have Used So Far!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My entire house uses mechanical pencils.. we do crossword puzzles, drawing, writing, sketching etc so when I got asked to be a part of this bzz I was sooo excited! Package came and to my surprise there are 2 PACKAGES WITH REFILL LEAD in the box! I immediately opened the box and put the pencil to use! The grip was amazing, the pencil did not slide down to my fingertips like the others have done in the past.. They write so smoothly and the lead is thicker then most brands so it doesnt break easily! I would recommend these pencils to EVERYONE!
