[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that school has been in session for a few weeks, my highschooler is loving the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils! According to him, the lead doesn't break as easily as some of the other mechanical pencils he has used. He says the lead erases well! The grip makes it feel like you are using a pen and he really likes the caps that come on the erasers. He even passed out the coupons to his classmates, telling them you're gonna love these!!""

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because my kids will whittle their pencils down to the height of a half a stick of gum having them use mechanical pencils saves my sanity from dishing little pencils out of the wash and their hands from cramping. These BIC Velocity mechanical pencils have a nice pointed tip that resembles a pen. When the lead is out not too much is exposed at a time making breakage happen less often. The eraser is sturdy and hasn't broken off while being used and it completely cleans up the lead. The pencils are in bright and fun colors so the kids think they are cool" and they are easy to spot in a paper stuffed backpack. Colorful

Before he always had to use thick #2 pencils, because he was able to hold on to them better. He can now handle mechanical pencils and this is the first set of #BICVelocity pencils and he loves them. He's all set now for school and couldn't be more happier!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a stickler for good quality mechanical pencils. Not only do my kids use them, but I use them for fieldwork. Inevitably leads tend to break at the WORST times! Not with the Bic Velocity. I have yet to have a lead break on me. that is miraculous! I also love the pretty colors and the fact they package the leads with the pencils. One stop shopping! It is refreshing to have a pencil that stands up to the stress I put it under. Plus, there is no arguing over who's pencil is who's because everyone gets their own color. Genius!
