Colorific Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils. They are in bright, fun, and pretty colors. Also they have a soft and comfortable rubber grip that is awesome. And they even come with a refill of lead and erasers, so that's new for me. Just in time for back to school, my daughter is so excited to use them. And that gets me excited

Love them they are better than regular pencils

I love the smoothness of writing with it and also the fact that I can do it without my hand hurting afterwards is even more awesome. These mechanical pencils are a true god send for me. I also loved the design and colors the coupons to get more were also a plus seeing that it is back to school time. I recommend everyone should try these I promise you and your family will not regret it.

Homeschooling

We home school so there isn't really access to a sharpener and to be honest traditional penicls for taking notes would be some what inconvenient. So we are pretty sure these will work out perfectly for our kids. I even let my husband take one to work. He has no access to a pencil sharpener but for some projects he needs a pencil and not a pen so this will also work out great for him. I love that they look like pens. They are colorful and sleek. The design is really great.

Sturdy Smooth Writers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC® Velocity® Mechanical Pencils are great for everyday use. The lead writes smoothly…no little lead flakes left behind on your work…and produces a dark, thick stroke to your letters. The barrel of the pencil is more like that of a pen, so I think they are more comfortable to write with than the cheaper version of BIC’s mechanical pencils.
The other thing that I like is that the pencils come with an extra supply of lead AND ERASERS! Those little erasers on mechanical pencils are always the first to go, so having an extra stash of them is a great solution to that problem. However, I have to say that the clear protective eraser topper doesn’t stay on very well and is kind of annoying to have to take on and off when you need to erase. That could be improved upon.
Kids like the cool colors, as you can see in the picture.

When taking notes or working out a computation in class, nothing beats the versitality of a pencil. Why go for a stodgy run of the mill #2 when Bic makes these super slick mechanicals!
