Review for the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest issue with mechanical pencils is that the lead always breaks when your writing. It seems like such a waste. I really wanted to know would the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils be the same way. My daughter was extremely excited to try these pencils. She liked the design and colors of them. I watched her do her homework with the pencils and the lead seems much stronger. Mistakes erase very easily not leaving the mistake still on the paper. My daughter stated the comfort of holding the pencil while working was extremely comfortable. We were very happy with these pencils and we will be purchasing them in the future.

Love Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils. They are by far the best mechanical pencils we have used. I was thrilled to receive 2 packs in my BzzAgent package only to find out this would not be enough for my 3 kids. They argued over who would get which color and the extra packs of lead and erasers, prompting me to go purchase another pack so it would be even! Although my 8 year doesn't typically bring mechanical pencils to school, he insisted he was bringing them this year. They write so smoothly and the eraser works great. It doesn't leave any gray smudge marks when erasing. The lead is strong, even for an 8 year old, and is easy to advance and refill. The pencils have a comfortable grip and are very easy to write with. They are reasonably priced and come in fun, bright colors. The past couple years we have purchased cheaper mechanical pencils and there is just no comparison in quality. I love the extra refill tubes with erasers and lead. The cheaper brand we used didn't have these so when the lead or eraser was gone, we threw them out and bought more. Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are definitely our new mechanical pencils for school! They are the only pencils my high schoolers will use now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a brand loyal to Bic for years and each and every time they make a new product I must break my neck to the store and purchase the item, each and every time i get my purchase home I am very happy for many reasons. The pricing of the product is amazing the quality of the product is amazing and how long the product last. I have had Bic products for months and they still look as if I just pulled them out the package for the very first time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys (ages 14 and 11) have been loving using these Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils. They like the cool colors, and the ease of just clicking up the lead instead of having to find a sharpener. The pencils write smoothly and the lead erases easily when necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a daughter starting high school this year and a mechanical pencil is a must! Our daughter loves the colors and how smoothly they write. Compared to generic pencils, the Big Velocity seems to hold up and erase better than many on the market. She insists that a mechanical pencil is important in all her subjects to correct mistakes and hold up when writing and solving problems. The Bic Velocity is a solid mechanical pencil that delivers all the needs of the modern student.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have vibrant colors to make

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoy writing with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils! Doing homework, taking notes in class, sketching, drawing - everything becomes more fun with these pencils. My kids love how well they write, the lead writes dark and smooth, and to me it feels almost like writing in pen. The erasers work very well and erase big or small mistakes with ease, without being too harsh on the paper, or leaving too much little eraser crumbs behind on the paper. I like that the lead of the pencils is much stronger than other mechanical pencils, so it won't break easily. I tested this with my young 2nd grade son who was able to do his homework with this pencil without the lead breaking off! Success! I usually let only my two older daughters use mechanical pencils, but these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are made so well that they will last a long time, because they are sturdy, plus they have strong lead that doesn't break easily. The package also comes with 5 replacement erasers and 12 leads! A very valuable set to buy, in my opinion! We also love that the erasers of each pencil have a small, clear cap on them to protect the erasers, and to actually protect from clicking the pencil accidentally while it's in the pencil case or backpack. Great idea from BIC! No other brand thought about this. Last but not least, the color selection in the package is awesome! The 5-pack of pencils comes with one of each color: blue, yellow, orange, pink, and purple. Each child is sure to find a color they'll love. The colors are bright and vibrant. I love the bright yellow and pink, they make my day a little brighter when I have to write my grocery shopping lists or take other notes. My kids love the blue, pink, and purple the most. Each pencil has a soft, rubbery grip, which makes writing comfortable, even for longer essays. My oldest daughter was especially impressed by how comfortable this pencil feels to write with, because she usually developed blisters and calluses on her finger from other mechanical pencil brands. What is another great feature is that the lead is actually retractable, so you're not forced to break off excess lead if you accidentally clicked it to come out too much. These mechanical pencils are #2 HB, 0.7 mm, and are perfect for standardized tests! I highly recommend these to everyone, and will be getting more! Disclaimer: I received complimentary samples from the brand for testing and reviewing purposes. All opinions expressed here are my own. #BICVelocity #GotItFree
