They tore into them and gave them a test drive prior to school starting and give them 5 stars! Love that they come with extra erasers and lead!

After they each tried a pencils shouts of they are very smooth" to " I think the eraser works really good" could be heard from my kitchen. Both my 13 & 10 year old kids gave the Bic Velocity a two thumbs up for ease of use and fun colors. My only complaint is that they started to fight over who gets to use the new pencils for school! Oy!"

They write smoothly and the lead rarely breaks, but when it does there is a generous amount of extra to refill with. There are also extra erasers to refill with too! Love this product!

The lead is very smooth and makes writing easy. The fact that these pencils come with lead refills is amazing because that means I can lessen my carbon footprint. The color coding helps to reduce fighting over whose pencil is whose, and the extra lead and erasers are easy to use. As a physicist, I prefer my lead not to spin inside it's chamber while I write, which allows me to use the edge" of the lead when I need a fine point
