[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all loved the Bic VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils! The comfy grip and cool colors really sold my kids (they are 15 and 17 yrs old). I liked that the lead is stronger so it isn't always breaking off. That drives me nuts and is so wasteful. The handy lead and eraser case is also nice. The erasers were easy to replace and I found them to erase well. I would definitely recommend these and I expect we will buy them in the future - especially since there was a coupon in the paper recently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be my new favorite pencil. I love how it writes, and how I do not have a cramped hand after just a few minutes or more. Writing just flows, it just feel like an extension of your hand!The only con I give it is that when using the eraser, it tends to press too hard on the end which allows of the lead to come out (to get longer). Of course, this is not really a pencil for young kids, my 6 years old is too young for it, breaking the lead, but the 8 yo is doing great with it and loves using it (she feels grown up). This is one pencil I will buy again once I am done with the ones I have received for free from Bzz agent, in exchange for my opinion. Now it might be a little while before that happens, since the pencils come by 5 with extra leads and erasers to refill. We have used ours a lot but have yet to use the refill, so I imagine it will last us some more.

She loves that she no longer has to sharpen her pencils and she also loves the soft grip that no longer hurts her fingers. So for my little girl, going forward she only wants to use the mechanicla pencils!!

Easy to use, comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are great. They write easily, are comfortable to grip. The lead doesn't slide in and out when writing, which happens a lot in cheap mechanical pencils. There is a cap for the eraser, which I find odd. Its inconvenient to remove and replace each time I need to erase something, but it does keep dirt off of the eraser when it's shoved in a backpack. My kids loved the cool colors and we're excited to choose one for their own. The only change I would make is either have a larger eraser cap so I don't lose it as easily, or just get rid of it entirely. With a small child under two, I'd hate for her to get a hold of it. I would definitely purchase these in future for my own school and my children as well.

Homework's new bff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since school began, my kids have passed over the regular pencils and gone straight for the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils everyday for homework. They make writing easier to read and lines clearer when drawn. The back up erasers are going to come in handy soon with all the assignments they've already been given. I will have to stock up on Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils because they are comfortable and easy to use pencils that you don't need a sharpener for!
