My kids are a fan of using mechanical pencils, especially the older ones and they loved these when they gave them a try. They actually already split them up among themselves haha I was lucky to be left with one for myself. The colors are great, easy to grip, writes smoothly and easy to erase

The extra lead and erasers are so handy and makes the pencils last longer. No need to throw away because you've ran out of lead and erasers. The pencils have been very durable and should last awhile. I definitely would recommend them.

When one loses their pencil, they specifically ask their siblings (we homeschool) if they can borrow the BIC Velocity" one! The lead is soft enough not to be scratchy but durable enough not to break constantly - and the erasers work well on every error. My kids love everything about these awesome pencils! Thanks BIC
