[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are awesome! Always sharp and write dark. I'll never go back to a regular pencil again! I use pencils at work and the regular ones never seem sharp or write dark enoghh. I'm getting my boss hooked now too. My son uses them at school and loves them too!

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received #BICVelocity to sample and review. I let my students use these pencils while they wok in my classroom. They love the different colors that are available. I appreciate the fact that time isn't wasted when someone's pencil tip breaks. They just have to click the eraser to receive more lead. I personally like how smooth the eraser is. The pack also came with extra lead AND extra erasers, that's was a huge bonus. Erasers are usually the first thing to go, and I've had students throw out their pencils before just because their eraser is gone. I am glad my students were able to try these out. These pencils would make great school supplies because I know most kids would rather use mechanical pencils anyway.

A nearly perfect pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these new pencils from BIC. They are very bright so I can find them in my junk drawer, though I would love to see a bright green one since I am not a pink fan. I love, love LOVE that the metal portion of the tip retracts completely into the unit so I don't stab myself when searching my purse for a writing implement. I love the chunkiness of the grip and how dark and smooth it writes. I also really love that it comes with not only extra leads but extra erasers. I have thrown out numerous other brands of mechanical pencils because they had refillable leads but a fixed eraser and once that was worn down you either couldn't erase or had to carry around a separate eraser. The only think that could possible make these better is that I found the little indentation for your grip to be slightly too far up the pencil for my preference. I found my fingers settling a bit below this in the hollow at the far end by the tip which was still comfortable but didn't give quite as much control in my writing. This is a minor issue however and I would not give these up because of it.

My Kids Favorite Pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son was so excited when I received my Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils. He immediately got his 2 favorite colors out if the pack and started drawing. I also got one and tried it. I loved the easy rubber grip on it. It feels real good in your hands. My son also loved the way it felt. Its really easy to write with and makes really dark lines. If you need to erase something the eraser works real well. I like that its almost impossible to break the lead. If you need new lead its easy to click the button at the top to get it. No need to have a sharpener anymore. I also like that it has extra lead in the pack. My son was very excited to take these pencils to school to show everybody.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three children started school a few weeks ago and have been very happy with the mechanical pencils. They friends have admired them because of the cool colors and because they are mechanical of course. The write smoothly and erase well. I will have to get more to pass around to my nieces and nephews.

BIC Takes Pencils to a New Level

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New BIC Velocity pencils are great for back to school or even for yourself. I like using them for shopping lists, word searches and even for drawing. I am usually not a fan of pencils because but BIC has made me a regular user. One package will last for a long time because it comes with 5 pencils, 5 eraser replacements and 12 lead refills.
