[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I'd find the day when I liked using a mechanical pencil. As a student, this is shocking because I love the smoothness of using a pen. These pencils feel like a pen and I don't have to worry about the lead breaking. They look like a pen, but the silver tip acts as a protectant for the lead. Even my kid that is banned from using mechanical pencils is using hers quite well. This is the first time the lead hasn't broken every other second. In fact, it hasn't broken once over the week full of schoolwork for both myself and her!

No more wooden pencils hurting your knuckles, the soft grip on the Velocity doesn't make your fingers hurt. And with great colors to choose from, you can't switch it up every day. The lead tips don't break easily but the lead erases without a trace. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Mechanical Pencils are the best mechanical pencil I have ever used. I'm not just saying that because I received the pencils in the mail free of charge but they are truly the best. The pencil writes very smoothly so smoothly that my oldest son loves to use them in art class because they are so much better then his regular pencils. I'm not sure if all the packages come with refills on the lead and erasers but that is awesome.

The lead in these pencils doesn't seem to snap as easily as other brands we have used. We'll definitely be buying more in the future.

I have tried many other brands and styles, and find this to be superior to any. The style and shape are very comfortable to hold while writing! I am very impressed by the quality of this pencil, and by the cute colors! I appreciate the opportunity to try this pencil, not to mention all of the extra coupons, which I shared, that were included with this BzzKit. My high school freshman and college sophomore both ask for these every year at back to school time. BIC is a well known brand for good reason. Their products are consistently well made, and invaluable to any students. When it's time for back to school, it's time for BIC. I always try to keep one for myself, but the kids always seem to find it! You can not go wrong with these fun, wonderful pencils.
