The design is wonderful, the grips make writing more comfortable, the eraser protector is a great addition and the pencils come in fun colors that my children enjoy. What is not to love! I am a school supply junkie, as a home school momma, and I definitely would recommend these to friends.

The other night at 10 PM two of my kids decided it was time to do math problems. It's amazing how a cool looking pencil could push my kids to do more! I highly recommend them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School has officially been in session for maybe a little over a month now and my kids and I are still loving our BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. The only problem I had was that I couldn't find any that had 0.5mm lead, but other than that we're still loving them. I've always loved mechanical pencils and I'm always looking for the right one so that I can do my homework. As a college student and mom, we go through lots of pencils and lead. I'm glad that we were sent these pencils to try out. Because I'm always looking for that perfect mechanical pencil, BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have helped me to narrow my search. Once BIC comes out with 0.5mm Velocity Pencils I'll be an even happier campier. Thanks for giving me the chance to try them, but now I have to get back to my note taking :)

They aren't weak & the points to break off like some mechanical pencils. They are very sturdy & write so neatly. I have two school-aged boys that love these as well! My 10 year old thinks he is taking the WHOLE pack without sharing, NOT! These are perfect for writing out my calendars! I of course, LOVE the colors! So bright & Fun! The kids love that they are sturdy, write neat, and most of all....look cool! The lead is strong, making it easy to write with. We will be purchasing more in the future!
