My daughter just loves them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves to write. When she writes she loves to use mechanical pencils. I am not a fan of them. The lead is constantly breaking and we are constantly buying replacements because they break so often. They don?t usually have a smoothness to they way they write. They also don?t erase to well. They leave a smudge on the paper every time. So when we had the option of trying a free sample of the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils I honestly didn?t think they could be much different than the previous ones we have tried. Boy was I wrong. The have comfortable rubber grip which makes it easy for my Girls to hold. The lead is stronger and doesn?t constantly break. It has lots of refillable lead and erasers. The eraser is smooth and doesn?t leave the smudges on the paper. My daughter just loves them. She said that they are the only pencils she wants for school

Good but not perfect

Colors are very nice, they are easy to handle and the writing is fine, but I also noticed that the eraser is not too good. I had to used another eraser to finish what was left from Bic Velocity; maybe that's not a big deal since almost everybody has an apart eraser, but if you are thinking that you don't need it, maybe you will be a little disappointed. Anyway, I would buy these pencils is there is a good deal at the store.

Kids love them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a six and ten year old and they both just went back to school. Along with 5th and 1st grades come homework. The BIC Velocity pencils are great! My kids love the colors and the feel of the pencil. They are easy for small hands to grasp. The writing is smooth. The leads don't break easily which is nice when you have kids bearing down on pencils just willing them to break. And with lead re-fills the kids can't complain they have no lead to finish the work. Other brands we have tried tend to have thinner lead and break easily and often. This frustrates young ones. BIC Velocity holds up even with rough use by my kids. I would definitely recommend these pencils to other moms.

How does it work for a left handed person?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the comfort grip on the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils is so comfortable. I'm a left handed person so comfort is hard to find. I also like that I can still write without problem on uneven surfaces. I don't have to press hard to get the pencil to work. The cap over the eraser is a nice feature as well as in the past I've lost erasers using other brands of mechanical pencils. I always am curious about how comfortable a pencil is for a left handed person, and after using this my answer is it works great!

BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are right on point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are definitely one of the better mechanical pencils I have used. For starters, the lead writes smooth and does not break easily. So many other mechanical pencils the lead is super thin and breaks easily. Not with the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils. I have been using it for at least 2 weeks now, and the lead has not broken once. The lead writes dark and super smooth. The eraser works! With so many pencils, the erasers are cheap and never fully erase. I haven't found this to be true with the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils. It erases clean. Another plus is the rubber grip, which makes it so much easier & more comfortable to write with. The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils actually have the look of a pen, but it's not. And finally - the colors! I love color and the personal flair it adds. BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils is definitely a hit in this family

Back to school
