My kids love to use mechanical pencils at school so we've tried just about every kind out there. Some feel cheap and you can barely see the writing or the erasers don't work well. But Bic is always consistent. The writing is nice and dark, but the erasers make it completely disappear when needed. They feel sturdy in your hand and have a nice grip. They also come in fun colors and designs.

Not too skinny where writing can become uncomfortable. They are easy to write with and the lead doesn't smear. I will definitely be purchasing for my kids for school.

The smooth marks made by this colorful mechanical pencil are easily erased. My kids are enjoying the new pencils in school, especially in math class. I have recommended these to all my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are the best mechanical pens ever. My kids love the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. They write smooth and the lead is long lasting. My kids loves the variety of color and the nice grip at the end of the pen. I love these pens because, when my kids erase, and they erase a lot, it does not leave the paper smeared or messy. It is nice and clean when they erase with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. After using these pens, my kids want me to buy more. They no longer want to use the store brand pencil pens. I like the fact that these mechanical pencils come with extra lead and erasers. We love this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love mechanical pencils but these new BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are even better than any of them mechanical pencils they have used in the past. They've urged me to purchase more. My high school daughter has given her out to her friends and now all of their moms are asking me where do we get them from. I just handed out all of my coupons to them and told them some of the local stores around that I've noticed they are at. My Elementary School son like how good they erased because he makes a lot of mistakes he says.
