She uses these pencils for everything at school and we love how comfortable they are to hold and how cleanly the eraser works- very handy when it comes to all that math homework! The write very smoothly and the lead does not break easily like some other mechanical pencils out there. The eraser works good. Overall these are very good pencil that I will defiantly start to buy for the kids when they lose them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a great buy, they have a comfy grip at the top and it comes with extra lead and erasers. The lid on the erasers and lead is a little tough to get off for little hands. My son is 7 and he had some trouble with the lid , however, the pencil writes nicely.

Beautiful pencil color barrels make for easy sharing, with unique colors for boys/girls to choose their favorite color. The pencil fits nicely in your hand, the grip is a great feature and the writing is very smooth. My son will only use mechanical pencils, so he has plenty to choose for the beginning of school. I found the eraser did not work to its full potential, but worked after erasing a second time. Pretty happy with this product.

Break easier than regular pencils
