BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils...and YOU

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am of the opinion that the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are outstanding. These are the must-have mechanical pencils for many reasons. First of all, the vibrant colors are a wonderful addition, and many children would love to write with these beautiful, stylish pencils. I was impressed with the refillable leads and erasers. The pencils contain a strong, dark lead--unlike many other brands of mechanical pencils. Many mechanical pencil brands CLAIM to contain a #2 lead; however, the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are indeed true #2 lead pencils! I also love the soft, rubber grips that are very comfortable. The erasers are also perfect and ideal for students during tests. Overall, I would highly recommend these pencils to children and adults alike because they are outstanding. They have many advantages over other mechanical pencil brands. Some of the advantages include their stylish, vibrant colors, their soft, rubber grips, and their strong, dark leads. They are perfect for test-taking, note-taking, and doing crossword puzzles, and other activities.

Comfort and style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity is so comfortable to use. I use a pencil everyday at work. I only use a mechanical pencil. The soft base makes it nice to use. I tend to grip my pencil too tight and have a tendency to press too hard. The lead strength is also perfect for me. I am going to put these out at work and see how quick they go.

Best Mechanical Pencil I've Used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils for a couple weeks now and we love them!! They are super smooth and not flimsy like the old-school pencils I used in my generation. There's no long flimsy graphite snapping off every few sentences... click... click... click to reload for a few more sentences. Smooth writing also makes this awesome! Not the 'nails on a chalkboard' scraping happening here... and the grip is enlarged and comfortable. It's about as close to writing with a smooth pen as you are going to get with a pencil. Thanks BIC for getting this one right!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being used to using the plain 'ol black Bic mechanical pencils, the Velocity provides not only a nice cushion for my fingers, but also a great look with fashionable colors. My son has just started middle school, so his teachers are finally allowing him to use mechanical pencils. He was super excited to take these and has loved using them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mechanical pencils so of course I had to try these. I was very happy with them. The pencil doesn't break like some can. The eraser was wonderful too. It didn't fall of like some can. I would be happy to use these and only these forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the grip on the pencils! When my hand get's sweaty I can just keep on writing! I like that the tip is retractable so you don't have to worry about it getting broke off either!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are fantastic. I use them myself for my math and science classes . I am in nursing school and I prefer the neatness, the lead strength. I have always used bic mechanical pencils. I'm glad they have continued to keep their quality. Which is why I continue to use them.
